Hi! I'm Joebenick my friends call me badjo or jobad, I'm a simple person who loves to write codes and take photographs, right now I'm a Freelance Web Developer on various PHP-based projects and Photography as my hobby.

Developer

I'm an FOSS advocate, I've been a PHP Developer for 6 yrs and exploring on different frameworks and other web technologies.

A Linux user since late 2004, from Redhat's Fedora Core 2 to Debian to Ubuntu.

Web Development is my BFF since highschool and I've been dreaming of creating my own website, so I took B.S. in Computer Science in AMA Computer University in Project 8 Quezon City to pursue my dreams. And after 4yrs I graduated the course and studied PHP for 6 months that time resources are limited, I've found this forum called PinoyWebmasters (sad to say the site is not available) and a good forum member taught me how to code PHP.

Photography

I started photography when i got my first Digicam, Samsung L60, and bought a Canon S3IS at Japan August 2007 and a Nikon D40 May 2008 at a cheaper price and it's brand new (good deal lol).

I love taking photographs of landscapes, waterscapes and cityscapes, I'm also in to Fashion Photography, and my current favorite is taking photographs of insects and macro abstract, in short i love Macro Photography

I use GIMP on Linux as my post processing tool
