PyroCMS-Joomla1.5-Kunena Component

It's been a while blogger's WYSIWYG has new theme kewl!
Anyway I've got some pretty interesting projects for this month and weeks/months a head :D
First: A CMS project, I'd like to use Joomla 1.5, but it would be a pain in the ass if i use that, because of the layout I'm afraid it would not fit on Joomla's templating system so I decided to use PyroCMS it is based on CodeIgniter, templating there is much easier than Joomla. I have 45 days to develop the site. so it would be a busy month for me from now. :)
Second: It's a Joomla 1.5 component called Kunena Forums it's a nice forum component for Joomla, I saw the source codes last night and it's pretty neat though I'm having a hard time looking for stuff because Kunena have it's on naming convention on functions. My task here is to develop a script that will notify all the users/members when a new thread is created or replied, of course unsubscribed is possible for those who don't want to get notified.
The tricky part on this project, they wanted to have a multiply-like notification, where in the user/member can reply via email, I've worked before on email scripts and I remembered that we used a html message to have a form for submission and stuff. Refresher is important :P. I have 6 months on this project but i wanted to deliver by this month (hopefully)
Others and not yet confirmed: a bookmarking component and library components on Joomla again, I hope this will push thru :)
that's all, I'll be posting stuffs as a mini review on those applications :)
thanks.
